I'm teaching myself to sew! Gave this jacket a little patch up using an old, overstretched sock :D (It's finished now but I don't have a picture of that yet) I dunno what I'm gonna do about the bleach stains scattered around other areas tho...

Short Online Diary Entry #11 - In search for a piano piece

I remember back in 2019, when I was doing year 12 music, one off my pianist classmates played this one piece. I didn't catch on the title or its composer but man, it was one of the loveliest tunes I've ever heard. Honestly I'd do anything to get a hold of that title. And that's why now I'm listening to mixes/compilations of piano pieces by piano composers until I find what I heard. Yeah, this is gonna take a while... But, I'm determined!

Short Online Diary Entry #10 - Music theory for probably the 5th time again

Yeah, I'm doing another round of music theory self-study again. I'm dedicating a notebook to it, even. This is likely mainly because I've gone back to watching some music theory/analysis/etc. channels on YouTube again. I've been feeling really inspired to compose again and also get into understanding music altogether.

Speaking of which, all this has been making me want to actually overcome this one area of my shyness where I'm too shy to get back to piano lessons again. My dad says he might still have some contact with the piano tutor I had back in primary school (I last played with her back in 2014). A bit nervous, but I really want to consider it.

Short Online Diary Entry #9 - My love for archives

One of the things that I really love about being in more obscure fandoms is that it really aids my love for browsing archives and old webpages/documents/images/etc. And the more obscure the fandom, the easier it is to find stuff on the web that hasn't been interacted with in probably months to maybe even years. 

I feel like it all stemmed from when I was a kid, I'd spend hours upon hours browsing the cupboard that's got a lot of old schoolbooks, papers and other stuff inside it. I loved reading all the old stuff I did and looking at the old doodles that I drew. (It's a shame a lot of that is lost/thrown away now, but I digress...)

Same thing with my garage, which I still haven't seen 100% of. I can't really browse it all that much anymore, since my mum gets all worked up whenever I make a mess of it, but that's okay. We're planning on moving house sometime not to far away from now, so that might give me a chance to finally explore the depths of the garage, and the small shed that we have in the back yard.

Short Online Diary Entry #8 - Probably gonna get into stealth games soon

A family member told me I should get into stealth games. You wanna know why? They thought it'd be absolutely hilarious since I'm real crap at being careful. ABut then again, a majority of the games I grew up playing were super fast-paced (especially run n' guns) and was really all about bruteness, with the exception of more chill games like the Sims. A good place to start is Hitman, which we've had for years. I only remember playing it a couple times, but I was never clever enough to figure stuff out at those times. Anyways, I'm kinda excited.

Short Online Diary Entry #7 - Flagged?!

So, about a week ago I created a fanblog dedicated to the guys in Menahat from Spectrobes: Origins. Just earlier today, I was surprised to see that it was (temporarily) not available to see on the web. I was so scared. What did I do wrong? I'm just some person on the internet who made a little fanblog for - if I'm using this term correctly - my "comfort characters". (Also I lost some dialogue I was collecting since I was updating the dialogue page so RIP.

Short Online Diary Entry #6 - Uni readings

So it's not a very good reading day for me. I've been planning on reading (and sleeping?!) since 12 AM and now it's 5... I'm gonna sleep now, but I'm not very happy that I've stayed up this long, I'll be honest. I've got uni tomorrow at 11 AM and I still need time to shower... Yeah. Things ain't lookin too good right now. At least I've been making progress on my Dyrus' Men project!

Short Online Diary Entry #4 - FNAF4

I'm currently playing Thafnine's livestream in the background and he's playing Five Night's at Freddy's 4. That just reminded me of the time when one of my closest friends and I, back in year 8, were thinking about having one of us get FNAF4 and then play it together, so that we could get scared the crap out of. I don't recall it ever happening, though. Good times, nonetheless.

I like keeping my background stuff on the bottom-left corner. Just sayin'.

Short Online Diary Entry #3 - Mario Kart

I'm currently keeping some TWD98 in the background while writing my script for homework, and I just remembered how much I love the sheer amount of chaos that Mario Kart has, especially Mario Kart Wii.

If anything I really want to get back to playing on the channel with all the custom tracks. We do have that channel in our old Wii, but my brother's a bit iffy about playing them. All despite the fact, I played those tracks throughout my entire Term 1 holidays in my Senior year of high school (which is about 2 weeks) and more. Bit of a shame, but I hope one day I'll be able to convince him.

Short Online Diary Entry #2 - Trying to sleep (night 2)

I'll be totally honest, camomile tea doesn't taste the best, but that's probably because I downed over half a cup last night. I've had some earlier tonight, actually. It's 4 AM again. I'll go straight to bed this time. Let's see how I do...

Also, I'm back on my HTML experiments, again... (Additional thought: Funny thing. I swear, I'm making up whole sites more than creating actual art pieces. Maybe I should wake up earlier so I'm more  motivated to draw up something big again...)

Short Online Diary Entry #1 - Trying to sleep

Havin some camomile to help me sleep at the right time again, although it's like 4 AM. Y'now, knowing that I'm a daytime person stuck with the wrong sleeping schedule... To elaborate, I do tend to spend a lot of the daytime asleep and all of the night awake, but, I can't say I enjoy it or even function at my best when I do that. That's something I really want to change.

So, this is all I'm referencing when I say I'm using camomile to help me sleep:

Maybe, I want to go out of Google dark mode.
I don't exactly know my thoughts on it, to be honest, but I might.

A challenge before Winter school

 Once all my uni stuff's cooled down, I've decided I'm going to challenge myself with a small comic project before I start Winter school. It's going to be a Spectrobes fancomic about the shady three-man team from the origins game, set after the game's been completely finished. 

Fond memories with the game "spotto"

I don't care, I will get a yellow car. I don't even know how popular the game "spotto" is anymore, but that's one of the reasons why I want it yellow. I guess, I just wanna see kids point at my car, and maybe even punch their friends if that rule applies to them. Well, unless I were to've been going through a crap day so I drive outta being upset - seeing kids competetively point at my car would kinda ruin the moment. Anywho, continuing on, spotto still plays a pretty important role in my early teen years. Elaboration below.

My experiences with laptops isn't great, but I still trust myself with them anyway

You probably shouldn't really trust me with technology. One time in year 9 (2016), one of my best friends to this day told me, "if you give any piece of technology to Angelica, it's gonna last about half the time it's supposed to." And I don't blame them. God knows how many things I've owned that's broken a bit too early, especially when it comes to laptops.

My favourite background music for comic-reading

I know, I haven't really consistently read any comic series in a pretty long while, but I've noticed, for almost every one, I've listened to "Safety" (from Cave Story) by Pixel, or at least, a variation of it. Safety's one of my favourite soundtracks of all time, so there's that too, but I've got some explanation as to how this really works for me when reading comics. Well, at least the comics I've read (which has mostly been teen fiction so far...). 

My thoughts on being known as a creator

A good fraction of the people that know me know that I'm working towards making some story/comic projects right now. Very few will know that I've got a small audience online when it comes to my content. I've got some thoughts on these right now.

A dumb whim

 I've decided I wanted to go through the entire Menahat arc and write down about all the dialogue I could find with Dyrus' henchmen.

How Dyrus' henchmen made it to being some of my favourite characters, I think

It wasn't actually up until my recent replay of Origins that I actually went and gave the dialogue a proper read, up until Menahat at least. Turned out I really had fun reading on what the three-man-team were saying throughout the Menahat arc!

What is this blog?

I talk about various topics of my interest that don't match any particular blogs I have already. If I had the know-how in making YouTube videos, this would be the content.
